   It is with great honor and priviledge that The Bitcoin Foundation embraces
   this opportunity to address the public on the state of current progress,
   obstacles and continuing steps in our mission.

   The Bitcoin Foundation had a vigorous and productive month.

0x01]: Accomplishments

   mod6 placed two more artifacts [R.03] [R.04] into deedbot to complete the
   list required for the Reference Implementation.

   mod6 completed and published [R.05] the makefiles.vpatch.  This enables the
   operator to build either offline (default) or online.  Please see the
   documentation attached to the mailing list email [R.05].

   The new vpatch also also ties together the leaves in the vpatch directional
   graph [R.06], thereby completing the v0.5.4 RELEASE.

0x03]: Continuing Steps

   Now that the v0.5.4 milestone is complete, four corresponding tickets have
   been closed from the `trb' project.

   There are still a number of tickets that need attention, going forward, their
   priority will be further assessed.

   Another short term objective is to evaluate, test, and ``regrind'' several
   submitted vpatches.

   The Bitcoin Foundation would like to recognize the considerable effort and
   contributions made by ben_vulpes, shinohai [R.07], and trinque [R.08]
   during the interval.
